A well designed website should flow well from one page to another.  The theme should be fluent throughout the site, or at the very least, complimentary.  FrontPage 98 is a wonderful tool that gives you templates, themes and more help to make designing easy, as well as an easy and efficient method of uploading files to your server.

Text should be easily read against whatever background you choose to use.  If the background and the text are too similar in color or tone, the text then becomes difficult to read.  Also, the page will look much nicer with only a few different colors of text, more is confusing.

Very large files take a long time to load, such as sound files, some animations and high resolution images.  These should be kept to a minimum per page to save the viewer's time.

Too much information on one page is BORING!   Keep it short, keep it informative, and definitely keep the viewers' attention!   People don't want all the information all at once, it's overwhelming.  But don't use up too many pages to go through to get the information, either.  It pays to be concise.

Promoting your website is essential.   Postioning in the search engines is a vital part of promoting your website.   As a graduate of the WebPostion Course, Imagine That! has key knowledge of submission techniques.

Updating is essential.  The site must be kept relatively fresh.  Surely you want people to return to your site and they won't if they keep seeing the same stale old stuff there.  Some types of sites require updating more often than others.  There are free counters all over the net.  By use of a counter you can tell how often your particular type of site will need to be updated.

Imagine That! keeps all this and more in mind when designing your web site.  Your Internet Presence is important to your image and Imagine That! wants you to be proud of your image as presented by your website.  We listen to what you want.
